What is Wine Tasting Dating?

Dating with drinks is a great singles event alternative to 3 minute speed dating. There's more chat, less speed and a great selection of drinks rolled into one sociable dating evening.

How does Drink Tasting Dating work?

The aim of dating with drinks evening is to meet people, taste great drinks, learn a little and enjoy a fun evening out.

All guests taste 4 over the course of the evening, while meeting up to 20 guests of the opposite sex.

Arrive at 7.00pm for some mix and mingling before the start at 7.30pm.

Guest then seperate into 4 tables with an even number of guys and girls, then over a 15 min time frame they try a tasting size glass of wine and get to talk with the other guests at that table.

After around 15 minutes, men move round to the next group, and taste a different drink. After 2 tastings there is a break for some nice finger food and then they try another two arounds of wine tasting

All guests have a score card, to make notes on the people they meet and who they would like to meet again.

Any guests who has "tick" another guest has their email address sent on to that person in a post event email. It is then up to the guests to contact each other and arrange to meet up again.

After the drinks dating session of the evening is over, guests continue mingling in the bar. Events are usually held at a bar or club, allowing guests to make the most of socialising with the people they have met.
